The start, blog no1

Right,  I have finally decided to catch up with the rest of the world and start writing a blog. Hold on I think I'm going to need some caffeine for this one let me put the kettle on back in a sec......

Okay so I'm back (yes i really did leave to get a brew). Okay so my name is Naomi and I run a style consultancy business targeted a mums. I have been working on the idea since late last year while at home looking after my daughter who is now 18mths old. She is asleep right now so I'm grabbing the only peaceful time in the afternoon i have to write this blog. The dog is asleep also, she is 13 mths old and needs lots of attention but she is a lovely little thing when she isn't chewing my brand new pair of shoes, which she has dome on many occasions old and new shoes for that fact.

Anyway so my business is target at women with children and I will be writing my blogs about fashion and style but also things that mums might want to know and read about. Generally i will just maybe write about what i have got up to that day or week (if not too boring).

I went to a wedding over the weekend and it was fab, I have never been to a proper Indian wedding before, why I say proper is because i was a bridesmaid when i was young and the bride was Indian and there were subtle touches on Indian influences but nothing major. I wore a red and gold sari that I will remember for ever as I loved it.

The wedding start on Friday evening with a party/get together at the groom parents house where i got my Henna done which looks amazing. Its actually given me the idea of getting some done every few weeks. I watched the wedding unfold and kind of blossom  from an engagement to an actual wedding and all i can say is every bride has a story to tell.

I wore traditional wear in the morning, which was a Punjabi suit, i would have loved to wear a Langa or a Sari but the Punjabi suit was lovely nevertheless.

I love any excuse to dress up and I haven't had one for quite awhile, but i got the chance to have three outfit changes and it was great!
